Light through the gaps. The Moonlit Copper Bracelet is pierced with leaf-shaped openings cut by hand into a band of 99.9% pure copper.

Because the shapes are cut through rather than engraved, the bracelet changes as the light does: bright and open at midday, soft and shadowed by evening. Piercing metal this way is slow work and it shows in the edges, which are cleaned by hand rather than punched. The band measures 70 x 70 x 20 mm and sits close to the wrist.
