The fabric is our signature Tin Cloth, a tightly woven duck canvas that's been thoroughly saturated with liquefied wax under heat and pressure for maximum water resistance. Tin Cloth's tight weave provides outstanding resistance to abrasion and punctures without excessive weight, and ideal combination for a bag built to last decades. The Bridle Leather handles are vegetable-tanned with tallows and wax added in the final stages, giving the leather a deep luster and lasting flexibility.
