Carved, not cast. The Jadeite Dragon Carved Pendant Necklace works a dragon into jade, following the grain of the stone rather than fighting it.

Jade takes carving in a way few stones do, holding a soft edge and a depth of colour that changes with the light behind it. The dragon is cut in relief so the body stands proud of the surface, which is what gives the pendant its weight in the hand. It hangs plainly, letting the stone carry the piece.
