Layers, then a stone. The Amethyst Layers Ring gathers stacked bands around a soft purple amethyst.

Building the shank in layers gives the ring depth on the side view, where most rings have nothing at all, and the bands step inward to lift the amethyst clear of the finger. Purple is a difficult colour to place, but against this many quiet metal lines it settles rather than shouts. One ring that looks like three.
